Free Damp Test
At Newbridge Caravans we believe in helping our customers keep their caravans in the best condition possible, and offer a FREE damp test in an effort to catch water ingress early on and save on expensive repairs later on.
Damp can mean the demise of your caravan if undetected or ignored. The only way damp can be detected is by using a protimeter, the industry's recognised tool for the job. This must also be used by engineers who are trained and experienced in damp repairs.
Damp is caused in caravans by the sealant either breaking down or being disturbed. This happens because caravans are subjected to varying weather conditions, from freezing temperatures to high temperatures of summer months, here or abroad. They are also towed over varying terrains, which twist and flex the caravan's structures.
This is why it is so vital that your caravan is regularly damp checked to avoid any problems occurring. At Newbridge Caravans we complete a full damp check free as part of our caravan service.
We also just provide damp checks on their own, and from the results of this damp test we provide a full cost of any re-sealing or re-boarding required. If any repairs are undertaken from a damp test paid for (not including service damp reports), the price of the damp test is deducted from the report bill, making the damp test free.
To contact us regarding any concerns about damp in your Motor Home or caravan please Telephone 01495 320111 Monday to Friday between 8.30am - 5pm.
